stations:
Pre flight inspections: At this station Tim walked us through the pre-flight inspection process a pilot must go through before taking off. The pilot must check all of the planes surfaces for any dents or any defects in the plane. Also we had to check that there was no water in the fuel tanks.
Maintenance: Socrates taught us the basics on how the engine of an airplane works. He taught us about how the heat for the cockpit is actually exhaust and how easy it is to get carbon monoxide poisoning. Also he told us about the inspection process that every private plane has to go through every year, and how they have to handle the inspection process differently with huge jetliners, compared to a small Cessna.
Airplane operation:At this station Mike taught how to navigate the plane with the various instruments and what the various other switches and controls did. This was my favorite station as i had never been in the cockpit of an actual plane before.
Pilot training: Tj told us the process required to get the different types of pilot licenses. For example you need 40 hours of flight to get a private license and you need to fly another 20 with only instruments wearing glasses that keep you from seeing anything other than the instruments. They also require you to fly in bad conditions. He also told us it would cost about $8000 for a private license.
navigation:
At the navigation station we learned how how to better read a VOR map and how we need to communicate with more than on VOR station. We were also told about what altitudes we should fly depending on the grade of airplane we were flying. we also learned about how we are supposed to navigate through restricted airspace and how we are required to contact them before flying in it.

conclusion:
1.i learned the basics on how a plane engine works. One thing that supposed me is that the use the planes exhaust to heat the plane.
2. I already knew how VOR stations worked . So when I wasn't very interested in the navigation station.
3. What is the worst conditions that's they had flown in?
4. i would say thet the best thing to do to improve this trip is to not make us do a Weebly.also we could leave earlier so we had more time at the airfield.
